Active Registration:  Registered Professional Engineer - Oklahoma, Ohio and West Virginia

Mr. Simmons is a proven Bridge Engineering Manager with broad-based experience in structural engineering, including design, analysis, inspection and forensic study of a vast variety of bridges.  He has designed superstructure and/or substructure for more than 30 bridges for the State DOTs, County Governments and United Precast Inc. including three-sided reinforced box culverts, reinforced concrete slab bridges, prestressed concrete box beam bridges, prestressed concrete I-girder bridges, steel wide-flange bridges and steel plate-girder bridges.  Britt has also performed bridge ratings for several County and DOT bridges.

As an assistant professor at Ohio University, Britt excelled at teaching both undergraduate and graduate level Civil/Structural Engineering courses as well as performing state-of-the-art experimental and analytical research in Civil/Structural Engineering.
