BKL, Inc. was
founded in 1946 providing Civil Engineering services in the
State of Oklahoma with such landmark projects as the Tulsa
Metropolitan Expressway System Master Plan, the Tulsa Port
of Catoosa, Tulsa’s North and Southside Wastewater Treatment
Plants, and some of the original roadway and bridge designs
for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation and the
Oklahoma Turnpike Authority. Since adding Architectural
Services in 1969, BKL has become an authority in the State
of Oklahoma in
Justice Architecture
as well as a leader in the design of Municipal, Religious,
Institutional, and Manufacturing Facilities.
Today with the
leadership of principals
Kim Reeve,
George Rochelle
and
Stacy Loeffler,
BKL continues to be at the forefront of Oklahoma engineering
and architecture. The firm is building on experience and
taking BKL into the future with innovative projects such as
the David L. Moss Criminal
Justice Center
in Tulsa, the Riverside Parkway in Tulsa, the new Payne
County Jail in Stillwater, and numerous other transportation
and architectural projects in Oklahoma.
BKL’s architectural
team is highly experienced with four registered architects
and LEED certified. In recent years BKL has expanded the
structural and civil engineering capabilities of the firm by
adding highly experienced bridge and roadway engineers to
better serve municipal needs. Combined with our current
structural, civil and architectural professionals, BKL
offers full services for all your engineering and
architectural needs. BKL has one office currently located
in Tulsa with 19 employees. With the efficiency of a small
business, we are bringing to the table a team with the depth
of experience and expertise of large national firms.
